Making your own protein bars for your bugout bag is cost effective and fun! Don’t limit it to your bugout bag though. This is an excellent snack for hiking, camping and any outdoor adventure. This is my own recipe which is high in proteins and fats. You can make this at home without the need of special equipment. ▼▼▼
Fat per serving: 27.6 grams
Protein per serving: 20.3 grams
6 cups of oats
2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
2 Tbsp Hemp Flour (Can substitute with almond flour)
2 Tbsp Fruit Powder (optional)
6 Scoops Protein Powder
1 cup Honey
1 cup Coconut Oil
10-12 Tbsp Peanut Butter
Mix ingredients together. Place on a tray, pack it down tightly together (important) and freeze for 12 hours. Divide into bars, seal for longer term storage or simply place them in a freezer bag if you’re going to use them in the immediate future.
